The Pendulum Christmas Tree Candle Holder with a counterbalance is a classic and was common in Germany in the 19th century. It wasn’t patented in the United States until December 24, 1867. It is nearly extinct and is no longer made in the U.S.
We’ve discovered one remaining place in Germany where Pendulum Candle Holders are still made. We’re glad to be reviving the Pendulum Candle Holder in the U.S. Help us us spread the word!
Our product is the classic version, with a new twist: It’s made for a votive candle rather than a taper. It is manufactured in a small family-owned shop in the Bavarian hinterlands. Stock is limited.
The cup keeps the votive candle in place. Hook the stem over a branch and adjust it so it’s vertical. Adjust the holder and position the weight so the holder remains level. Set of six.
Ca. 6 1/2 in long. Ball (Kugel) Weight. Silver or Gold. (Our pendulum holders are also available with a pine cone or star weight.)
