Each year, we offer a custom tour to the land that “invented” Christmas — Germany. The adventure includes visits to the country’s top Christmas markets, meetings craftspeople and toymakers, as well as an inside look at their workshops.
The trip also features a tour of historic creche (nativity) scenes in Bamberg, as well as a visit to Lauscha, where we meet local artisans and get a behind-the-scenes look at how traditional blown-glass ornaments are made. We also visit shops and collectors who specialize in antique and vintage Christmas collectibles, folk art, toys, ornaments, miniatures and other treasures.
